When you’re making a claim it’s natural to have plenty of questions, so we’ve outlined some of the most common queries to give you a clear idea of how we can help.
Q) Why should I call you rather than my insurance company?
Your insurance company can only provide a very limited range of options. They’ll require you to stick rigidly to your chosen policy and pay an excess. You’ll typically only be provided with a small impractical hire car, and if your car is a write-off you often won’t receive a hire car at all.
Q) What’s unique about your service?
We take care of everything from start to finish. We’ll find you a suitable replacement vehicle rather than just a stock option, give you the ability to either reclaim or waive your excess, and manage all repairs to your vehicle.
Q) Can you help even if my car has been written off?
Absolutely, we’ll even work on your behalf to obtain a settlement cheque and a suitable replacement vehicle whilst you arrange your next purchase.
Q) How much do you charge?
We never charge our customers a penny. Our earnings come solely from a modest claims handling fee, and the arrangement and provision of a hire car. The costs of all of which will be recovered from the other driver’s insurance company.
Q) When should I contact my insurance company?
You don’t have to. As with everything involved in your claim, we’ll take care of it for you.
Q) What information should I provide?
Our team will ask the right questions so that you understand the process and provide us with everything we need. If there is anything missing then don’t worry about it, we’ll make the necessary inquires on your behalf.
Q) What if the other driver’s insurer won’t pay out?
We’ll never present you with a bill. Leave everything to us and we will pursue your claim diligently on your behalf.
Q) What if the other driver wasn’t insured?
Don’t worry, we can still help you every step of the way. We’ll contact the Motorist Insurer’s Bureau who are responsible for compensating innocent parties involved in accidents with uninsured drivers.
Q) What do you need from me before I can use a hire car?
We’d need to see your driving license, and then hold the details of your credit or debit card on file for security purposes.
Q) What type of hire car can I expect?
We have access to an entire nationwide fleet of cars so that we can provide something which best meets your needs.
Q) How long can I use my replacement vehicle?
Until your car is fully repaired and returned to you. We’ll make all the necessary arrangements so that there is always a car outside your property ready to go when you need it.
Q) How do I know when I need to contact you?
Once you make your initial claim we’ll take care of everything from there on in. If we require authorisation or additional information we’ll contact you at a time of your convenience. If you don’t hear from us then you can rest assured that your claim is being progressed by a team with your best interests at heart.
